What Is the Production Process of Solid And Liquid Water-Soluble Fertilizers?
For crops, sunlight, air, water, and nutrients are very important and indispensable. Generally speaking, crop roots obtain nutrients from the soil to maintain their own growth and development. However, in actual production, continuous farming and partial application of chemical fertilizers have caused damage to the soil structure and nutrient supply function. Nowadays, if you want to provide sufficient nutrients for the crops throughout the season, fertilization is an essential agricultural activity, so the choice of fertilizer is very important.
The large-element water-soluble fertilizer has comprehensive nutrition and is simple to use. The use of drip irrigation equipment can achieve precise fertilization. While fertilizing, it also completes the supplement of water, saving manpower and time investment.
We know that from the morphological point of view, the macro-element water-soluble fertilizer products are divided into two types: solid (powder) and liquid.
The production process of solid water soluble fertilizer is as follows:
After the large, medium and trace element raw materials are crushed by the crusher, they are filtered through a vibrating screen (with certain diameter requirements) to obtain fine and uniform powder, and then accurately weighed according to the formula requirements, and then placed in the mixer to fully mix. The mixed samples are sampled and packaged to obtain the product after passing the test.
The production process of liquid water-soluble fertilizer is as follows:
Similar to the production of solid water-soluble fertilizers, the raw materials of liquid water-soluble fertilizers are also crushed, weighed, and mixed. However, the mixing process is different, because the solid raw material must be dissolved in the liquid raw material, and there are two problems in terms of solubility and dissolution time.
Therefore, in order to increase the solubility and shorten the dissolution time, an emulsifier should be added. Add a small amount of emulsifier and stir quickly until a uniform liquid phase is formed. This process is cyclic emulsification. It is at a higher temperature during the dissolution process, and after forming a liquid fertilizer with a suitable viscosity, it is cooled down to room temperature. The samples are then sampled, weighed after being qualified, and packaged for delivery.
