Cow Manure Compost Fermentation

There are two main methods for aerobic composting of cow dung:

(1) Stack type composting process: the materials with proper moisture adjustment are layered into stacks according to the height and width, and the stacks are arranged in parallel on the open or indoor flat composting yard, and the efficient professional turning is adopted. The organic manure composting machine straddles the pile for continuous turning operations. The cross-sectional shape of the pile is triangular or trapezoidal: width 1.5-2.5m, height 0.8-1.4m, length 50-150m (depending on the shape and size of the composting site). The characteristics of the process: the mechanical turning operation is highly mobile, and the use of strip stacks is conducive to the loss of water in the later stage of composting; it has low requirements for civil engineering and does not need supporting fermentation tanks. It can be composted outdoors, saving construction investment; the area of composting site needs to be relatively larger; outdoor composting in northern regions has poor thermal insulation in winter, and the composting cycle needs to be extended or the composting should be stopped seasonally; when open-air composting is easy to affect the rainy season, it is recommended to cover the rain shed with conditions.

(2) Solar-powered fermentation tank composting process: Place materials with appropriate moisture adjustments in the fermentation tank of the solar-powered composting workshop through a spreader or forklift. The suitable height of the fermentation tank is 1.0-1.3m, the width is 6m, and the length is 50-100m. It can be determined by referring to the area of the cattle farm and the shape of the plot. The process has the following characteristics: it can realize the continuous fermentation process of the fermentation tank with the feed at one end and the discharge at the other end, and also the full tank batch fermentation process; it adopts forced mechanical turning and aeration and pipeline ventilation and oxygenation and aeration. Gas; the solar composting workshop has a good heating and heat preservation effect and regulation function, and can be used for composting production all year round. Taking into account the material characteristics of cow dung, in order to save investment, the southern area can also replace the solar composting workshop with canopy.

According to the water content of cow manure raw materials, one of the above-mentioned composting processes can be selected, or the two composting processes can be combined for composting. For example, first, cow dung is composted at high temperature through trough composting, and after harmless, the materials are removed from the fermentation trough to the stack composting site for secondary fermentation and further reduction of water content, which promotes further humification and mineralization of organic nutrients , Thus decomposed. The investment in organic manure equipment for the combination of the two processes has increased slightly, but the efficiency and quality of composting have been improved.

Commercial cow manure organic fertilizer production equipment

Organic fertilizer products can be made into granular or powdered form, depending on market demand. In order to balance nutrients and be suitable for transportation and storage, it is recommended to process organic-inorganic compound fertilizers into granular products. The granular shapes are cylindrical and spherical. The requirements for the moisture content of the finished particles are: organic fertilizer ≤ 20%; organic-inorganic compound fertilizer ≤ 10%.

The production process of commercial organic fertilizer mainly includes pulverization, batching, mixing, granulation, drying, cooling, screening and packing. The production capacity of a single production line equipment is preferably 1~10t/h. If it is too small, it will not reach the economic scale, and if it is too large, it will increase the difficulty of transportation and storage of raw materials and finished products.
